03/05/14 - CPC: Pipe Cleaners

Another day, another inspiration...

The inspiration this time around?
Pipe cleaners:

I didn't have any pipe cleaner creation pictures...
and I didn't want to stage a picture just for the purposes of this challenge.  So I went with the rainbow color scheme of the first inspiration picture. I also was inspired by the googly eyes in the second inspiration picture so I included a sticker of a googly-eyed pumpkin and his not-so-googly-eyed friends as an embellishment.
Here is the layout:

 "Pumpkin Patch Thugs"
Journaling: "David and Madison hate taking pictures so I am thankful for any pictures I can get...
even these!"

David and Madison are such clowns! Madi gets it from her Daddy...
Well, actually I'm a clown too so she gets it from both of us, but he is more so a clown than I am.
Basically what I'm saying is she had no chance! LOL!

Anyway when it comes to pictues I can hardly ever get them to agree to take one.
And when I do, it's hardly ever a serious one.
It's frustrating!
But what can I do...ummm nothing, except take what I can get.

I was able to convince David to take more pictures w/ me this year as a kinda joint "New Years Resolution" and so far so good.  I have at least 1 picture of us together for each month of the year...so far...well, it's only been 2 months...but still that's a start.
I'm hoping we can keep it up.

Anyway, I digress...
Back to the original subject which is the current challenge over at "CPC".
Please stop by and check out the other fabulous layouts and join us...
Pretty please?!

03/04/14 - SID March Single Page Layout Team 1

Hello!
Stopping by to share the latest "Stick It Down" sketch for my team: Single Page Layout - Team 1.
Warning my layout subject matter is total "TMI" (Too Much Information)! LOL!

First the sketch:

And my layout:

"IBS"
Journaling: "I have stomach issues.
I've had them since I can remember but having children made it worse...and each child made it worse than
the one before (thank goodness I only had 2)!
I was actually diagnosed w/ IBS = Irritable Bowel Syndrome
This diagnosis came a few short years ago and thanks to it, I know what I need to do to manage it.
But there are some days that no matter what I do it causes me great pain.
On those days the only comfort I get is lying down w/ my feet elevated.
Sometimes this happens at work.
I am thankful I have an office w/ a door and a lock
And my Snoopy blanket.
- Picture taken 02/04/14 -

Yup, like I said,  TMI.
But my IBS is a part of me; a part of my life.
And scrapping about life isn't just about the good and the pretty.
So there you have it: another piece of my story.

BTW - if you can't figure it out, that's a selfie I took of me lying on my office floor.

Thanks for stopping by and please stop by the SID blog to see other takes on the sketch!

My printer was having issues and I fixed it but during the interim I was not scrapping and lost my mojo ::le sigh:: But I've still been ...
